Therapy

When ever I don't feel good or I'm having a bad day... I like to scrap a page or two to get me feeling better! Today was a therapy session with my computer... Darn cold!

Digital Scrapbook Memories

Guess what? Digital Scrapbook Memories is releasing a new mini CD for Christmas!

The first day it will be for sale is November 8th at their digital scrapbook class in Sandy, UT. It will be available online shortly after that.

Also, for those of you that wonder and always ask me... the November 8th class will have a beginner class and a slightly advanced class. The beginner class teaches you all the basics of Photoshop. The slightly advanced class will focus on a mini book project. AND THE CLASSES ARE FREE!!!!!



If any of you guys and gals wanna hitch a ride with me, do it'll be fun!!!

Christmas in October

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! So I hate that our house faces the North, (our neighbors across the street had NO snow when i took these). But I guess we get to play in the snow longer! It's a love hate relationship. Most of these aren't in focus, but I still like them ;)

My heart is full of joy and gratitude as I contemplate my motherhood. What a privilege it is to be part of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Because of my faith in my church, everyday I have the desire to strengthen my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and build up His kingdom. I pray that you (my friends) might be guided to find your own happieness. Maybe it's in my church, so check it out.

Scrap Matters Speed Scrap

So I did a first today... over at scrap matters.com they have this thing called a speed scrap. It's an hour long and every ten minutes on the hour you are given instructions for creating a digitalscrapbook LO... it was really fun and I'm quiet proud of the final LO.

Okay, so some of you know that we got a new computer and so that means putting your files to the new computer, well Justin and I got a mix up and he deleted the wrong folder! So all of the scrapbooking pages you see down below got deleted and i have no other copy! I'm so mad I can't even type. Anywho this goes out to all of you, backup your computer files! :) Those husbands of ours.

Bear Lake

I've been a bad blogger this week, I always have these things that i want to post... but somehow I seem to not find the time.

Any who, a few weeks ago we went to Bear Lake for the weekend and had a blast. We went to the Minnetonka Caves and it was so cool...



Clair and Justin had to hold him the entire time because they had a ton of things you couldn't touch. In fact, you could only touch the hand rail. So we thought that it'd be best if we held him. He didn't take a nap that day yet so even before we went in he was starting to get fussy. By the end of the hike he fell asleep and
after a long hike with Beckham on our backs, Justin was ready to fish... while he was fishing Beckham finally woke up and we started to take pictures. There was some wild flowers surrounding us and Beckham decided that it would be cool to pick them. In my mind I was thinking that it would be so cute if Beckham would put it on his ear. I had to think of a way to get him to do it; so i tried the first attempt and I told him to put it on his ear instead, he put it in his ear, but i got the cutest smile!...

I'm a sorry LOSER!

I participated in a color challenge on one of my favorite Digiscrap sites. I lost, I was so sad. I really wanted to win the gift certificate. :( I thought that I would still share my LO's. {{{Okay, okay it was still fun}}}

CARS BIRTHDAY PARTY

I can't believe that i actually did Beckhams Birthday announcements this year. Justin and I have been so busy this month with photo shoots, already we've had a total of {8}. I was totally planning on buying them, but yeah you know me... I wanted to put my name on it. Beckham was so excited to see them. He's had a LOVE affair with Cars! He gets to watch one movie a day and this past week it's been Mae Mae and Queen.


His cake was so simple... I made cupcakes and stacked them on a single layer 9" cake. At the dollar store they had McQueen foam stickers and we put them on the cake with toothpicks. You could easily change this to fit any themed party.

Okay... I'm really excited

there is only 111 more days till...

No more "Bink-ti"

Can you believe it? I wasn't even really thinking about loosing Beckham's binki, but our neighbor (who has the cutest little boy) got her son off the bink. After reading about her experience, I thought... "Man, i need to get Beckham off" It was one of those moments where you realize you need to start doing this and start doing that. We did the "out of sight, out of mine" binky removal. It works now, but that first night all he was saying was "Bink-ti mommy Bink-ti" Those of you that know him well knew that binky and yellow were one word when it was time for bed, but now it's only yellow. (yellow is his blanket)

DSM Scrapbooking Olympics

In August, Digital Scrapbook Memories will be starting a fun multi-part contest. There will be all sorts of prizes but so far the best prize will be the full version of Adobe Photoshop CS3 for Windows. It's worth $649! Wahoooo! Up to date

Things are still moving along for us... we are all doing great and everyone is healthy. Justin and I are going to be really busy the month of Aug. We have plans every weekend. 3 weddings too. I hope that they all go well. Beckham is still growing too fast, infact we took some pictures that are really cute here....

WOW huh? He's getting too big! Well i hope to write some more soon. Jamers
